What is Music and Movement?

Music and Movement is a social innovation.  It's a new way for people to come together to share music with each other.  It can transform any regular party into a novel social occassion where sharing a little bit of yourself--in the music you love--can turn an afternoon or evening gathering into a one-of-a-kind experience.  Mostly M&M is a way to bring good energy, discussion, and music out of each other and into a fun get-together.  It has been used in the Bay Area to share information about what's happening in the local community as well as provide opportunities for people to become involved in political and civic events.  There have been dozens of entertaining Music and Movement meetings since it began in 2004.  Check out the Music and Movement Manual below to learn more about how M&M Meetings work and how to start hosting you're own.
